In his own words:
“My first twenty
winters consisted of working, studying, and training at the Temple of
the Founding Stone. I would guess preparing for the very mission I’m on now.”
His gaze traveling from his weathered hands to his new axe.
“These
last three years, have been spent in and around the Bloodstone region,
learning more about Toril as well as furthering my training.
The Order of Tolgarien, sent me here as a representative to both
Grumbar and the church. My
duty, to spread their teachings as well as their visions across Toril,
then report back my findings.” He points to the three inscribed
mountains, centered on his breastplate. “This is Grumbar’s marking
or symbol. This
inscription, on my talbard, is the insignia of the Order” His hand
traces over the runic writings on his green talbard.
He
scoops up some small pebbles off the ground, holding them in his open
hand “From as long as I can remember, the priests, from time to time
would call me the prodigy, some saying it in discuss.
I still have no idea why they called me this.”
He shrugs, “with crazy priests, you never now” as he
continues to roll the pebbles in his hand with his thumb.
He
smiles slightly “I seemed, to always have a strong calling to the
elements of earth, but, I think the drawing of the elements to myself,
was what shocked the priests of the temple.” He chuckles slightly,
mostly to himself “They
just couldn’t grasp it or explain it, that most have been what made
some of them so mad”
“The
Temple of the Founding Stone was the first temple built in honor of
Grumbar. You should see
it.” His eyes light up a little “It looks just like three colossal,
granite mountains joined together, but it really a man made
structure.”
